Katja retrospective

October 17 to November 16, 2007 a retrospective memorial exhibition of Katja’s work was presented
at the FOFA Gallery, Concordia University, Montreal.

Co-curators: David Elliott, Lynn Hughes, Loren Lerner and Sara Morley

The retrospective premiered 366 Days, Katja’s final series — one painting a day for a full year.

An exhibition catalogue is on sale at the FOFA Gallery — proceeds going toward an undergraduate Fine Arts scholarship in Kessin’s name.

Opening Event (October 25): Performing Katja
A selection of Kessin’s interviews and performance pieces were screened and discussed by the co-curators. Alexandra Daszkowski, Katja’s sister, also presented, We hadn’t seen each other for two years, a collaborative work she made with Kessin.
